Toyota Corolla Hire – Ayia Napa, Cyprus

Drivers must be aged 21–75 and have held a driving licence for at least three years.

Drivers under 25 or over 70 are subject to an additional fee of €5 per day and a €500 security deposit.

For the following vehicles, a €500 security deposit is required regardless of the driver’s age and can be paid by card or in cash:

• Group 9 – Mercedes CLE 200 AMG Cabrio
• Group 10 – Jeep Wrangler 4×4 Opening Roof

No security deposit is required for vehicles in Groups 1–8 inclusive when the driver is aged 25–70 inclusive.

A credit card is not required.

An ID card or passport is left with us as a deposit for the duration of the rental.

We deliver and collect your car free of charge within Ayia Napa and Protaras. Other locations can be arranged for an additional fee, depending on the distance. Simply add your preferred pick-up and return locations to the booking notes when making your reservation.

You can collect your car from 08:00 onwards. All rentals end by 06:00 on the agreed return date. You’re welcome to leave the car at your hotel on your final evening and hand the keys to reception, so there’s no need to meet our driver early in the morning.

Your car is delivered with half a tank of fuel, which you pay for at pick-up. The cost ranges from €25 to €50, depending on the model – for example, €30 for a Nissan Note.

You can return the car with the tank empty, so there’s no need to refuel before an early-morning return or match the original fuel level. Any unused fuel is non-refundable.

There is no daily mileage limit, so you can explore Cyprus without worrying about extra distance charges.

In some cases, travel to Northern Cyprus is permitted. If you plan to cross the border, it is necessary to mention this in the booking notes when making your reservation. Please note that insurance issued in the Republic of Cyprus is not valid in Northern Cyprus. Separate third-party insurance must be purchased at the border crossing before entering Northern Cyprus.

Border insurance offices operate during daytime hours only. If you arrive late at night and plan to travel directly to Northern Cyprus, you will need to wait until the following morning to purchase the required insurance and continue your journey.

Full insurance is required for all rentals. The daily insurance price is shown for each vehicle group and must be added to the rental price.

It covers the excess, tyres, windscreen, theft of the vehicle or its parts, and passenger injury or loss of life.

No insurance covers damage to the oil sump, vandalism, or damage caused by off-road driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, or driving in the Turkish-occupied northern part of Cyprus.

• Additional driver: €2 per day.
• Baby seat or booster seat: €3 per day, per seat.
• ISOFIX baby seat: €5 per day, per seat. Advance booking is required.

Driving off-road or on unpaved roads is strictly prohibited. This restriction applies in particular to dirt tracks such as those in Cape Greco National Park and around the sea caves, which are not suitable for standard rental vehicles.

Please note that no insurance coverage applies to damage caused while driving off paved roads. The rental company reserves the right to charge a penalty of between €50 and €500 if the vehicle is used on unpaved or off-road routes.
