FAQ
Do I need a boating licence?
No. The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid car driving licence, and at least 2 people must be on board. Before departure you get a safety and driving briefing – please arrive 30 minutes early.
Where does the trip start and where can I go?
All trips start from Latchi harbour. Popular stops along the Akamas coast are Blue Lagoon, Manolis Bay, Fontana Amorosa, Saint George’s Island, Green Lagoon and Amphitheatre Bay.
Fuel policy
Petrol is not included in the rental price. You pay only for the fuel you actually used, at the end of the rental.
How long is a rental?
Half-day rentals are 3 or 4 hours, with departures in the morning (09:00–10:00) or afternoon (13:30–14:30), depending on availability and season. A full day is up to 9 hours between 08:30 and 18:00, depending on sunset.
Is the boat insured?
Yes. Insurance covers damage to and loss of the boat and its equipment, with an excess of €650.
Can we do watersports?
Towing watersports equipment (water ski, wakeboard, ring) is only possible with a powerboat licence, on a boat of at least 80 HP (RIB) or 100 HP (speedboat) and with at least 3 people on board.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and plenty of water. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks on board.
